Feeding a baby raccoon
Raccoons are born with their eyes closed, like newborn kittens. Raccoons are tree dwellers, but don't make a nest like a bird, so when babies are born a mother has to find a place safe from people and dogs for her newborns. When her little ones are able to climb, they leave the natal den to sleep in the trees with the big raccoons.
